Our 30 ft carbon fiber water-fed pole is the same pole we use on our own jobs. It rides in the truck, gets run up and down all day, and keeps going. That's why we back the pole sections and clamps with a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own it.
The short version
- If a pole section or clamp fails because of how it was made, we'll repair or replace that part.
- Coverage lasts as long as you, the original buyer, own the pole.
- Accidents, rough handling and everyday wear aren't covered.
Which poles are covered
The 30 ft carbon fiber water-fed pole bought from The Window Cleaning Shop, whether you bought it on its own or as part of the Tri-Boss Pure Water Window Cleaning Kit, and whether it shipped to you or you picked it up from us.
What's covered
- Pole sections: all 6 carbon fiber sections.
- Clamps: the clamp body, lever and locking parts at each section joint.
If one of these parts cracks, splits or stops locking during normal window cleaning use because of a defect in materials or workmanship, it's covered.
What's not covered
Accessories and small parts. The brush, rinse bar, jet nozzles, gooseneck, hose, Euro thread tip, fittings, adapters, O-rings, end caps, screws and other small hardware aren't part of the lifetime warranty. They're covered by our 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects instead.
Everyday wear. A pole that works hard will show it. Scratches, scuffs, a faded finish, clamps that need tightening, and sections that get stiff from grit are normal and aren't defects.
Damage. Breaks and failures caused by any of these aren't covered:
- Drops, falls or impacts
- Crushing: stepped on, driven over, or caught in a door, tailgate or ladder rack
- Pulling a section past its stop, or forcing a stuck or frozen section
- Using the pole for anything other than water-fed cleaning
- Freezing, harsh chemicals or electrical contact
- Modifications, or repairs not made by us
- Loss or theft
Stay safe: carbon fiber conducts electricity. Never use the pole near overhead power lines.
How to make a claim
- Reach out. Call or text 832-755-2755 or email welcome@thewindowcleaningshop.com.
- Show us the problem. Send your order number (or the name and phone number on your pickup order), clear photos of the part, and a quick note on what happened. If a clamp won't lock, a short video helps.
- We'll take a look. We may ask for more photos, or ask you to send the part back or bring it by in Richmond, TX so we can check it out.
What we'll do
If your claim is approved, we'll repair or replace the part that failed. We fix the part, not the whole pole: a bad clamp gets a new clamp, and a cracked section gets a new section. If that exact part is no longer made, we'll send the closest match.
Shipping: for approved claims in the first year after purchase, we ship replacement parts free by standard ground shipping within the continental U.S. After the first year, the part is still free, but shipping is on you. You can always pick up replacement parts free in Richmond, TX. Sending a part back to us for inspection, faster shipping, and shipping outside the continental U.S. are on you.
The fine print
- This warranty is for the original buyer only. It doesn't carry over if the pole is sold, traded or given to someone else.
- A replacement part is covered for the rest of your original warranty. It doesn't start a new one.
- We decide whether a claim is covered based on the photos, information and any parts you send us.
- Repairing or replacing the covered part is the only remedy under this warranty. We aren't responsible for lost jobs, lost income, downtime, labor, travel or other indirect or incidental costs if a pole fails. Some states don't allow limits on incidental or consequential damages, so this limit may not apply to you.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
- We may update this warranty. The version posted on the day you bought your pole is the one that applies to it.
Systems and everything else
